Hi Candy, I popped in from an old link off of JollyBlogger, and wanted to see what's new. Thanks for the 100. it took me several hours to get throught them all (grin).

I am in agreement with #94 where you state, "I know how vile I am and how many times in my life I have bitterly failed. Grace is so amazing...beyond anything I can comprehend." How true in how that applies to me. Where I sin I often know it now as sin, and yet find myself continuing. Sometines like a teenager I find myself avoiding the 'fessing up to God. Yet, when its done and over, it really over. The Grace remains. I have and sometimes pray, "Protect me from myself, O God, for I fear to be my own worst enemy."

You don't say if you have ever been to Alberta or Saskatchewan. Come on up sometimes, it's great up here!

62. I work at a museum that hosts weddings. I make sure the place is intact after everyone leaves. My least favorite songs during weddings. YMCA, Macarena, Louie Louie, I Will Survive.

Hi Candyinsierras...I just realized that although I've often chuckled at your wry commnents on other blogs, this is the first time I've visited yours! I was prompted to do so by the link to your blog on Adrian Warnock's.

It sounds like you have an interesting life. Although it's been quite a bit different from mine, we do have several things in common...including our love for the Lord, our amazement at his love for us, and the fact that we both have three children.

I'll definitely be back!

This was a wonderful trip! I enjoyed reading it and getting to "know" you just a bit better. And there were lots of smiles along the "trail."

I guess the best thing about it was being able to share in your journey from a lime green bedroom growing trees out of the wall to hikes to Berkeley, past Indian spirituality, to becoming reformed . . . and you really were right, after all . . . God WAS "out to get you!" It's always a huge encouragement to me to read about how someone else, like me, was lost, but is found!

One of the other things that interested me was your depiction of Phil Keaggy. I've seen him in concert only twice, but both times I would describe it as no less than rapturous. I think back to both of those evenings as among some of my best experiences. Glad to see someone else who appreciates him.

This was, honestly, a very enjoyable morning hike! It's worth highlighting today on Adrian Warnock's site (I'm his editor).

Thanks again for a wonderful "blog retreat."

Plum Island is in Mass. I am from the west and lived in NH for a year. I was claustrophobic from all the trees. I liked Plum Island cuz I could see further, and because there are lots of birds there.

I may just take you up on coming up to PEI someday. I will bring my watercolors and we can sit outside and paint!

Tide pooling at Plum Island - is that in Mass? I lived in Ipswich and we could see Plum Island from our cottage window.I love to explore tidepools too.

I have an idea - come on up to PEI and visit - that will be your wish - and you can teach me how to paint watercolours - that's my wish!!

You know, we have more things in common than I can list. Shoes...hiking....camping...voles...on and on.

And all I can say, looking at my word verification, is that I finally understand the reasoning behind those zxq exercises in high school typing.
